OptiMix®

Thanks to a continuous improvement of their glass-lining technology, De Dietrich have been able to introduce to the market a brand new reactor series called OptiMix®. The patented concept and design of three baffles integrated into the wall offers a substantial improvement of all agitation and heat transfer parameters. This also allows us to free-up all the nozzles for the process needs (reactants inlet) and for its monitoring (sampling, instrumentation, cleaning devices, PAT Tools, etc…). Moreover, the suppression of the beavertail baffles improves the cleaning of the reactor by deleting dead zones very difficult to access, which makes the OptiMix® a reactor specifically appropriated for API synthesis processes.

The considerable mixing improvements in terms of circulation speed and reduction of mixing time have been achieved with an important reduction of the vortex.
As a consequence, users noticed the total disappearance of any splashing on the top head of this kind of reactor, which improves drastically its ease of cleaning and its cleaning validation.

A specific temperature pad has been developed, validated and patented and brings you the same accuracy and ease of use than the standard
De Dietrich baffle probes.

To let you have the possibility to scale-up the results of your laboratory or pilot studies, we have developed glass-lined VERI OptiMix® vessels having glass covers.
Furthermore, we have developed and patented laboratory borosilicate glass OptiMix® reactors with our subsidiary QVF, and we have extended the range of standardized OptiMix® reactors for basic chemistry
up to 40 m3 capacities.
